"He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak"

(John 12:48-49).

You may think that the above are harsh words coming from a loving Savior, but Jesus spoke this as He knew many would reject Him. So many I have spoken to over the years do not understand that they are “rejecting Jesus” when they go about their lives ignoring Him. Christ died on the cross to pay for our sins  (1 Cor 15:3-4).   “God commendeth His love toward us’ in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom 5:8). What a powerful love.  Mulititudes have been misled in this world and believe many false teachers and preachers but the fact is, that most who listen to these people, will not open God’s holy word, the Bible, and search the scriptures for themselves (John 5:39). I pray you are not one of these.  Jesus Christ, the One who many reject, will soon be our Judge (Rom 2:16). If anyone thinks that 50% of the world’s population is saved, think again.  Jesus spoke these words: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matt 7:13-14). The word “many” means a vast majority.  And “few” means “few”.

By the way, for those who do not believe there is a God, that is your choice. But You will not be an “atheist” in the future. You will believe but it will be too late.

Friends, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Eph 2:8-9). There are several ways that people are trying to “work” their way to heaven but it’s all in vain.  No amount of 'good works' will get you there.  Here’s are a few statements I have heard over the years:

• I was baptized (or sprinkled) as a baby in my church. [that is works

[Believe first & then baptism: (Acts 10:43), (Acts 10:47), (Rom 10:13) (Eph 2:8-9) (Acts 16:31) & many more]

• I am a good person and most everyone likes me. [that is works]
• I give to the poor and help out at the mission every Saturday [good but that is still works]
• I go door to door and hand out the Watchtower material (a false Christ). [that is works]
• I hand out Mormon material to many (L D S - false Christ). [that is works]
• My granddad was a preacher. [trusting in another’s walk with Christ - that is works]
• I said some “words” one time but I don’t recall them. [that is works false salvation]
• I ‘accepted’ Jesus as a child so I can live however I want. [reprobate - works]

I can go on but Jesus said that He is the only way. “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh to the Father but by Me (John 14:6).  If you don’t ‘trust’ Him, you are rejecting Him. God wants you to ‘receive’ the precious gift of life with Him eternally. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Pet 3:9).

So there is a time when you will be judged and it is not a ‘fairy tale’ as I have heard some put it.
[And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire (Rev 20:15).]   I believe the Bible.  I have learned that some “self-proclaimed atheists” cannot or do not want to be convinced otherwise. So I won’t get into a ‘spiritual battle’ with you if you are at that place.  And there are some that simply do not want to be “preached at” and I understand that. I really do. There was a time in my life decades ago, where I didn’t want to be “preached at”.  So I won’t treat you badly. And many will say they believe (Matt 7:21-22) but will not bow (and repent) to Jesus and “receive Him” in their lives (John 1:12) and serve Him (John 12:26). And their names will not be written in the book (Rev 20:15). We must receive Him by faith. "But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith" (Gal 3:11).

Repent and put your trust in Christ and call upon His name. Ask Him into your heart. Tell Him you’re sorry for your sins as we all have sinned (Rom 3:23  Rom 5:12). He is waiting (Rev 3:20) and He will receive you. Do not ‘reject’ Him. If you are at the point in your life and you find there is no where else to turn, turn to Jesus.  Trust Him. He will listen. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved (Rom 10:13)God will forgive your sins no matter how bad you think they are"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace" (Eph 1:7).  That’s a promise. Try it.  He will change your life.  He changed this sinner's lifeDon't leave earth without Him.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (read Rom 10:9-17) .

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

1 Corinthians 15:20-22“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”
