We believe the Holy Bible is the inerrant and Holy Word of God. Although we do not get into Bible Version Battles, we stand firm on the King James Version Bible and believe it to be the final and absolute authority, above and beyond all other authorities on earth.
God is one, eternally existing in three distinct persons (1 John 5:7): the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit), who are infinite in glory, wisdom, holiness, justice, power, grace and love.
Jesus Christ is true man and God (He is God in the flesh), who in His incarnation was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin, Mary. He is the Son of God. In His earthly ministry He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. By the power of God, He was raised from the dead in the same body now glorified. He ascended into Heaven where, He makes intercession for us on the right hand of God. The Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) is co-equal with the Father and the Son; regenerates the believing sinner; indwells, guides, instructs and empowers the believer for Godly living and service; comforts the children of God. The Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) guides and gives power to the church, which is the body of Christ, to fulfill the Great Commission, and convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Man was created in the image and likeness of God; but through the sin of Adam, man fell into sin and is, therefore, lost apart from Christ. Jesus said, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3, 7).
Salvation is the gift of God and includes the forgiveness of sins, the imputation of the Righteousness of Jesus Christ, and the gift of eternal life. Union with the triune God provides all blessings in this life and the life hereafter (Eph 2:8-9, John 1:12).
Salvation is received by faith alone , apart from all good works and merit (Romans 5:1).
We believe that all must Repent of their sins (or their earthly ways) and 'forsake' their old ways (Isaiah 55:7). (Luke 13:3) (Acts 17:30)
We affirm that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) is absolutely essential. The purpose of the church is to witness concerning Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures, and to preach the Gospel among all nations (Mark 16:15). And to praise and glorify God on High (Romans 15:6).
Jesus Christ will come again to receive unto Himself those who believe in Him, that where He is, they may be also (John 14:3). He will come again personally and visibly to establish His kingdom. They that are saved, born again, unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (also 1 Thess 4:15-17)
We believe that as a Christian, or a Follower of Christ, we are to serve and follow Jesus all the days of our lives including reading and studying the Bible. Jesus said, “If any man serve Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve Me, him will my Father honor” (John 12:26).
