“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; . . . ”

(Heb 12:2)

1 Stay focused on Christ:  Not only turn your eyes upon Jesus, but keep your eyes set on Jesus. “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”   Heb 12:2

2 Look to Jesus when others revile you:  Jesus said, “Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.”   Matt 5:11

3 Do Good and Pursue Peace:   “Let him eschew (turn away from) evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.”   1 Pet 3:11

4 Stay busy:    “ . . . be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”   2 Peter 3:14b

5. Tell ‘em about our Jesus: Jesus said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”    Mark 16:15

This is about the best advice this old man can give.

P.S. If struggling, repeat steps one through five.
